A UK veterinary locum marketplace and mobile app connecting practices directly with vetted locum vets and registered veterinary nurses (RVNs) — no recruitment agency. Practices post shifts and compare pre-vetted locums; locums manage all applications from a single profile. The platform serves 130+ UK practices and 2,000+ locums, with a two-way review system for trust and accountability on both sides.
The Problem
UK veterinary practices relied on slow, expensive agencies to fill locum gaps. Locums wanted direct control over shifts and rates without agency markup.
The Solution
Led web, mobile and backend delivery of an end-to-end marketplace where practices post shifts in under two minutes and compare pre-vetted locums at roughly half the cost of traditional agencies. Added AI-assisted scheduling, in-app messaging and document sharing, a shared calendar that prevents double bookings, and a two-way verified-review system.
